Joining our sisterhood is an honor and privilege any person can achieve. If you would like to join the Alpha Gamma Chapter of Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority Inc, view our requirements below!
Requirements
- Minimum requirement of a semester 2.75/4.00 University Grade Point Average
- Demonstrate a sincere interest in joining the organization
- Possess or looking to enhance Leadership and Professional Development skills
- Attend Sorority Recruitment Week events which include, but are not limited to: socials, informationals, tablings, etc.
- A desire to contribute to the community through service and philanthropy

Although our organization does not conduct a "formal rush" process one might recognize, we do conduct intake, or the initiation of new members, every semester.

Sigma Lambda Gamma hold year-round recruitment efforts and accepts applications at the beginning of ever Fall and Spring Academic semesters. Stay tuned on our social media and email lists for recruitment week dates.

Recruitment Week is the opportunity to learn more about our organization, our chapter, and our siblings! Attend any (or all if you love to learn more) informationals held by the Alpha Gamma Chapter at the University of Miami!
